Who we are
SportEscudo is a service operated by CLWS LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Our postal address appears at the end of this page.
The short version
Your club's data belongs to your club. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not use it to train advertising models. You can export all of it at any time, on any plan, including the free plan. If you leave, you leave with everything.
Who controls the data
When a club uses SportEscudo, the club decides what is collected and why. We process that information on the club's instructions, as a service provider. If you are a parent or a player, direct your questions to your club first: they hold the relationship with you. We will always help a club answer you.
What we collect
From club administrators and coaches: name, email address, and the actions taken inside the platform, which we log so a club can see who changed what.
From families: the information a club asks for when a child registers. Typically a name, a date of birth, a parent's contact details, and any documents the club requires. Clubs choose which documents to request.
Automatically: basic technical data needed to serve the site and keep it secure, such as the pages requested and the time of the request.
We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. We do not embed advertising networks.
Children
Children do not have accounts on SportEscudo. Account creation requires being 18 or older. A child's information is entered and managed by a parent or by the club, never by the child.
Photographs that identify a child are never published without a recorded consent, and a consent can be withdrawn at any time. When it is withdrawn, the child is removed from future publications.
Payments
We do not store card numbers. Online card payments, when a club enables them, are handled by a payment provider that is responsible for that data. Clubs may also record cash, check and bank transfers manually.
We send transactional email: sign-in links, notices a club asks us to send, and receipts. Clubs may also send messages to their own members. Anyone can ask a club to stop sending them optional messages.
How long we keep things
A club's data stays for as long as the club exists on the platform. Clubs that are created but never claimed are deleted automatically after a short period. When a club closes its account, its data is deleted after a defined retention window, except records we are required to keep, such as financial records.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the information held about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to receive a copy. Because clubs control their own data, the fastest route is to ask your club. You may also write to us and we will route the request.
Security
Access to club data is restricted by role and enforced by the database itself, not only by the interface. Sensitive actions are logged. Access to a club's file by our support staff requires a stated reason and is recorded.
Changes
When this policy changes materially, the new version carries a new effective date, and the previous versions remain on record.
